Feeling better today. I decided to skip the lab, which let me get some sleep. I'll be starting on laundry soon.
I'm feeling some turmoil about German at WAL, but I think I've decided not to continue with it.

I haven't been knitting much lately, but I find myself really wanting to buy this kit. I imagine plenty of knitting is in my future -- in two weeks I'll be going to a class at Hilltop Yarn with Kristin Griffin-Grimes, and a month after that Cookie A. is teaching one there. I think I'll go to that as well.

Yesterday was me & Shawn's sixth anniversary. Tonight we're going to celebrate with dinner at Kabul. Nom nom nom!

I'm feeling some turmoil about German at WAL, but I think I've decided not to continue with it.
- With the extra fee paid to SPU for transcripted credits, each 4-to-5 week term costs $565.
- Each term accounts for about half a quarter's worth of curriculum at SCCC or UW. (I had been under the impression that each term was more like a full quarter's worth.)
- Credit is only available for up to WAL's German 6, which corresponds to SCCC's GERM&123 (what normal colleges would call 103), which means I'm not actually going to be able to get 200-level German taken care of this way.
- The WAL classes are tiny (usually around 3 students so far), which is awesome. The one guy who has been in both terms with me is quite amusing.
- The teacher is fun, entertaining, good at German, and somewhat dreamy. (Well, he's <40, reasonably cute, of a goth/punk/rivethead bent, and clearly admires my brain and personality. Duh. Of course, he's also married and MY TEACHER, so nobody needs to point out that this is not something to pursue.)
